About Don:

  • Prior to entering the manufacturing industry, worked in the family wholesale electronics business and professional sound company
  • Over 35 years, Don has worked as a Quality Manager, ISO 9000 Coordinator, Safety and Security Manager, Facilities Manager, and Operations Manager
  • Types of industries include: Back Up Power System, Business Information services, Material Handling, Telecommunications equipment, Construction, and Material for the rail industry
  • Some of the companies include: KW Control Systems, Bloomberg LP, RAD Data Communications, and Koshii Maxelum America
  • I originally joined ASQC back in the 1980’s, received accreditation as a CQA, and was a past Chair for the Mid-Hudson Section
  • In addition to giving company training over the years, I was an Adjunct Instructor for Orange County Community College’s IBIG Program, teaching quality management
  • On a personal level, I’m a musician and song writer, I participate in church choir, and I have been involved with 4-H
  • I’ve served as a volunteer firefighter in my community for 47 years serving as President, Assistant Chief, and Safety Officer
